Welcome to The Spruce Peak, a remarkable A-frame cabin blending harmoniously with nature! This enchanting retreat stands proudly amidst a triangle of majestic Spruce trees, nestled into ReLive's white cedar coniferous forest, creating a sense of serenity and seclusion. The cabin’s design is centered around its uniquely exposed Douglas Fir timber structure, which not only adds a modern charm but also provides sturdy support for the soaring 27-foot peak.

As a biosphere retreat, all retreats are a 5min hike in from the parking with off-grid features and all the comforts you will need, including a shared wood-burning sauna.

The 20’x20’ footprint may seem modest, but once you step inside, you’ll be amazed at how the cabin embraces you with warmth and abundance. The open-concept layout maximizes space, allowing the natural light to flood in through large triangular windows, further connecting you to the tranquil surroundings.

The Spruce Peak is warmed by a wood stove, ensuring a snug atmosphere on chilly nights. And for added convenience, a direct vent heating system provides consistent warmth throughout the cabin. The kitchenette has been designed with modern amenities and is perfect for whipping up delicious meals.

The thoughtfully designed washroom features an incinerator toilet, a revolutionary eco-friendly solution that leaves no trace behind. Our solar power setup harnesses the sun’s energy, providing all the electricity needed for your stay. The best part, all the water you use comes from a natural spring source, providing pure and pristine water for your needs, enhancing your connection to nature.

Ascending the beautifully crafted spiral staircase, you’ll reach the snug loft area, where a comfortable queen bed awaits, along with a reading area to sip a morning tea, As you lay under the sloped ceiling, the triangular window above your head presents a celestial show of stars and moonlight, making it a dreamlike spot for stargazing before drifting off to a peaceful sleep.

When it’s time to savour outdoor delights, a well-equipped BBQ awaits, perfect for grilling up your favourite meals amidst nature’s backdrop. Gather around the crackling fire pit under the starry sky, sharing stories and creating lasting memories with loved ones.

The Spruce Peak’s exterior reflects a perfect harmony of natural materials and contemporary design. The A-frame structure, clad in pine, blends seamlessly with the natural environment, while the spacious back deck provides an inviting space to enjoy the fresh valley air.

The charm of the cabin extends beyond its four walls. A network of enchanting trails invites you to explore the surrounding wilderness where you will find ashared sauna for a relaxing and rejuvenating experience, the Saugeen River and a natural spring to relax in a hammock or on the deck, immersing yourself in the beauty of the landscape and water features.

As you indulge in these amenities, you’ll appreciate that the cabin is not just off-grid, but a marvel of innovation and sustainability. Every aspect has been carefully designed to minimize the ecological footprint while providing a comfortable and contemporary retreat. Our commitment to preserving nature’s beauty shines through, ensuring a stay that is both eco-conscious and memorable.
